From Arts administration to teaching artist work to teaching at a University level- Annie excels at any role she tackles!

Arts and Education
Working in arts and education for 25+ years, She has worked extensively in K-12 educational settings, in creative aging and other community settings as a teaching artist. Her many years as a teaching artist led to a well-respected professional reputation that has invited opportunities for her to create professional development and training for teaching artists and classroom teachers. Annie's work in creative aging as a teaching artist was quite progressive and drew the attention of the acknowledged leader in creative aging, Lifetime Arts, and so began her long career as a professional development consultant with the organization, and eventual full time staff position as Director of Education. In May of 2022, Annie stepped down from her full time position at Lifetime Arts to make space for artistic opportunities, however, she remains deeply committed to the organization and to creative aging. Additionally, due to her vast experience as a teaching artist and arts and education leader, Annie is a faculty member at The New School teaching Collaborative Research Studio: The Teaching Artist.
